Andrea FerrariAbove – A living room suite in the Fendi Casa collection. Fendi, a Roman citizen by birth, started in Rome in 1925 as a leather and fur workshop. The company’s historic headquarters is the Palazzo della Civilta Italiana, which serves as the artistic and financial command center. Here we are introduced to Fendi Casa, which is a merger of Fendi with Design Holding, who owns a variety of legacy brands in luxury lighting and furniture. Fendi and Design Holding are now joined to create Fashion Furniture Design (FF Design), a venture that aims to develop Fendi Casa’s business and strengthen ties between its interiors and fashion-driven fashion collections.

Silvia Venturini Fendi is pictured at Fendi Headquarters at Palazzo della Civilta Italiana, Rome. The new introductions reflect the house codes: Rugs have the interlocking FF from the Baguette bag and the “Karligraphy”, script logo designed by Karl Lagerfeld. One of the luxe sofa styles has armrests that are a larger version of the house’s Pequin stripes. The new Fendi Casa is a collaboration project, which includes contributions from Toan Nguyen and Atelier Oi. Venturini Faendi states, “It is important to engage with international talent who can contribute to the evolution of our aesthetics.” “Creativity shouldn’t be restricted.” April saw the opening of Fendi Casa in Milan. This was in the hope that curious shoppers will become Fendi Casa’s next collaborators.
