What Will Happen To My Blog When I’m Finished With The House?

I have been sharing my enthusiasm recently about finally beginning the process of completing the last interior room of our house- the studio. Many people have inquired as to whether I will conclude my blog once this room is finished. Let me assure you that I will not be stopping my blogging journey once the studio is complete.

Currently, I am aiming to finish the studio and its bathroom by mid-August of this year. I’ve been asked if I ever grow tired of redoing projects that I have already done. My response is that I am here to stay, and I never tire of revamping, adjusting, and experimenting with ideas.

In the hallway bathroom, I plan to install new countertops, accent tile, sconces, shower curtain, plumbing fixtures, and a new vanity color. The guest bedroom is due for a wall transformation- I am going to finish the hand-drawn flower design on two walls and add white wainscotting to all three. Furthermore, I am considering changing the yellow velvet curtains to pink/coral.

In the kitchen, I want to replace the dishwasher, the concrete countertops with quartz, and possibly the flooring. As for the addition, it will take place in the future and I will have to tackle a family room, bedroom, and laundry room as part of the process.

On the exterior of the house, I have been preoccupied with the front porch and am yet to finish the painting, re-install the tape lights, and finish the stone skirting. Additionally, I am looking forward to building a pergola above the breakfast room windows and creating steps to match the style of the front steps. Lastly, I still need to paint the carport and install a finished ceiling and lighting.

I am aware that I have an entire acre of land that needs landscaping. I have a plan for this and it will take me a long time to finish. Furthermore, I still have many small projects in my mind that I want to do, build and create. I have a plethora of ideas that I can share and I am positive that I can spend a decade or two on them.

To summarise, even when the interior of our house is complete, I will still have plenty of projects to keep me busy and the blog alive.
