Fernando Pages Ruiz, a 30-plus year veteran of construction, is a passionate advocate for low-cost housing innovation. He is the author of Building an Affordable Home (2005) and Affordable Remodel (2006), both published by The Taunton Press. Fernando’s award winning homes have been featured on HGTV. He currently works with Andres Duany to design and fabricate a new generation manufactured housing.

Kriss Swint, Director of Marketing Communications for Westlake Royal Building Products, is also the Managing Editor at LiveAbode.com Westlake Royal’s outdoor design inspiration blog. Kriss started at Westlake Royal (previously Royal Building Products) in 2011 as the Director for Interactive Strategy and Design. She quickly rose to the position of Director, Marketing Communications. As a creative visionary, she often names and brands new colors while also directing integrated marketing campaigns. Kriss is responsible for the design, implementation and strategy of Westlake Royal’s Design Tools. Kriss is also the Director of Marketing Communications and oversees the execution of new programs, product launches and industry events. This plays a crucial role in elevating Westlake Royal’s thought leadership position.

Ben Drury serves as Product Development Manager at Westlake Royal Building Products. He oversees the exterior product brands such as TruExterior Siding & Trim and Versetta Stone. Kleer Lumber, Foundry Siding. MidAmerica, Portsmouth Shake, Atlas Stone, and Foundry Siding. His varied experience in both the automotive and building product industries allows him to balance many roles including product development, customer management, internal and external marketing, engagement, and product development.
